In this consultancy role, I capitalised on my 9 months as an ICT intern on the Digital Procurement System (DPS) and Travel Authorisation & Request(TAR) Systems to drive impactful improvements. I collaborated closely with the team to refine existing functionalities and implement new enhancements to DPS. Key Achievements : • Streamlined the tender process with a System Audit Trail and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) implementation. • Enhanced communication with suppliers through broadcast functionality and improved RFQ specifications. • Optimized lead times and supplier participation through configurable settings. • Ensured mobile-friendliness for a seamless user experience. • Introduced a Tender regret email attachment feature to improve communication transparency. • Empowered suppliers by enabling them to submit quotations within the system. • Facilitated complex procurements with the "Tender in Lots" functionality. • Streamlined collaboration with Notes/Comments for RFQ line items. • Integrated a Captcha v3 fallback to v2 to address user challenges and improve accessibility. • Increased efficiency by developing functionality to duplicate tenders and RFQs for similar cases. • Established a System generated RFQ template workflow, promoting standardization. • Strengthened evaluation processes with Bid Evaluation Minutes and Reports. • Improved transparency with the ability to maintain logs and comments for bids. • Empowered suppliers with a supplier dashboard showcasing past invited RFQs. • Contributed to a successful System Translation project to support multiple languages. • Provided valuable insights with the generation of Monthly reports.
